I applaud your sensible approach to skills testing: allowing students to use a diagramming guide. The objective for using any teaching technique is to achieve learning success, in this case, grammar and writing, not diagramming.

I agree 100% this lens is not for someone who wants to point and click. The Nifty 50 as I call it, challenges the photographer to work on their skills every time its in use. Tweeking aperture, and shutter speeds is really important for making the most out of this lens. This lens is amazing for low light portraits as well as indoor controlled sports.

I know it sounds corny but "your only limitation is your imagination". It will do everything you need it to do. despite its hefty $500.00 price tag it is well worth every penny. You will know that when others see its results and request portraits because of the beauty it creates. It will give 100% professinal performance even with the most basic entry level dslr.

I recomend this lens as well.

I stumbled onto the chart and your website quite by accident, but I'll definitely be coming back. It's a fantastic site and the chart is so helpful - both for myself and my students!

Thanks for the post Cullen, I hope many of your readers are able to benefit!

My only complaint is that in the link you spelled my name wrong. No 'c' in Whittaker.

Dear Cullen, how are you? Looking forward to a) coming home for the summer, and b) moving to Japan in the fall? We are planning on visiting MO in July, so I am looking forward to seeing you. Maybe from the weekend of the 24th if you are at Lake Ozarks at the reunion that your dad told me about. I hope to swim in the lake--I miss it as it is dirty and somewhat dangerous down here and don't do it. Sometimes we go in the rivers--they are nice--COLD, but nice.

PS. I looked at your diagram and it's good for me that I always did well in English, but never had to learn what is a nominative, predicative, etc. I usually know when I've made a mistake in my grammar, but sometimes I just let it go.

Hope you are well. Love you, Laura.

It was great having a visitor who's so interested in our culture. You seem to have met a lot of Melakans whom I myself haven't chatted with before.

You can see photos of the crab here http://members.tripod.com/~khleo/trivia.htm#STFRANCIS

And more miracle stories involving St Francis Xavier here
